What is NTUC Care (U Stretch)?

The NTUC Care (U Stretch) is an assistance programme which aims to assist our lower-income union members to defray their cost of daily necessities. Eligible members can receive up to $120 e-Vouchers for daily necessities.

Who can apply for

NTUC Care (U Stretch)?

Union members must meet the following criteria to be successful in their application:

Membership

Members who wish to apply for the grant must have at least 6 continuous months of membership at the point of application and must not be in arrears.

Income

For Members without Family Member(s) Staying in Same Household in Singapore:
- Monthly Gross Personal Income of $1,850 and below

For Members with Family Member(s) Staying in Same Household in Singapore:
- Total Monthly Gross Household Income of $4,300 and below, OR
- Monthly Per Capita Income of $1,075 and below if Gross Household Income exceeds $4,300

*Note: Gross income is defined as all income derived from employment/business, inclusive of overtime and allowances.

How to apply for

NTUC Care (U Stretch)

The application period is from 30 July 2025, 12pm to 3 September 2025, 4pm. Please note that late submissions will not be processed.

All applications must be submitted online via the OneCARE System.

Please prepare and upload the following documents when submitting your application:

Income documents of the member and all non-schooling family members living in the same household as the member;
Birth certificates of member’s children living in the same household as the member;
Proof of residential address for all family members living in the same household as the member, except for the member’s spouse and children

Successful applications will receive an email with their application outcome and instructions to claim the e-Vouchers via OneCARE Portal.

The NTUC Care (U Stretch) e-Vouchers will be issued via RedeemSG, the same platform used for the nationwide voucher schemes with similar redemption process.

Validity of the e-Vouchers is till 31 December 2026 and strictly no extensions will be granted after the expiry date.

The e-Vouchers are valid for purchase of necessities at the participating merchants – NTUC FairPrice, Kopitiam (selected outlets and stalls), and Unity. It is not valid for purchase of alcohol or cigarettes.

The e-Vouchers must be used in fixed denomination redemptions as issued. No refunds will be given for any excess e-Vouchers amount used at the point of purchase should it exceed the purchase amount.
